Siempre con Nosotros

The Spanish national team won Euro 2008 today, with an impressive win over Germany that ended an outstanding campaign.

During the post-game celebrations, Real Madrid’s Sergio Ramos wore a white t-shirt with a photo of Antonio Puerta, a Sevilla player who died of a heart attack during the first match of the 2007-2008 La Liga season. Ramos was a former teammate of Puerta. The shirt says “Siempre con Nosotros” — “Always with us.”

Roz Rows the Pacific

She left San Francisco Bay on May 25, 2008 and is currently about 400 miles west of North America, heading for Hawaii. In 2006, she successfully rowed the Atlantic Ocean, taking 103 days to complete the journey.
A few times per week, Leo Laporte calls her up on a satellite phone and interviews her for a podcast called Roz Rows the Pacific. You can listen to it at twit.tv/roz, or subscribe in iTunes.
