If you’re looking for information on Boston Mayor Thomas Menino, then you’ve come to the wrong place.

I’ve had this site for a long time, and I often receive e-mails and comments about Menino.

The word ‘menino’ is just a Portuguese word (as well as Italian, I guess) that I thought would be an easy to remember web address,. It’s also sort of inside-joke for those who know me.

For the record, this site has absolutely nothing to do with Boston, or its mayor, or anybody named Menino. Unfortunately, typing ‘menino’ into many search engines will bring you to menino.com (See for yourself). There’s not much I can do about that, other than provide these links to sites that are probably a better bet for information on Thomas Menino:

Now for the really weird thing: there’s a German-Brazilian band named “Menino.” If that’s what you’re looking for, then you can find them a menino.de.

    Heh. Menino is simply ‘boy’ but it is often used as a diminutive or nickname.

    Menudo is soup made with tripe and hot chilies (and sometimes grits).

    Surprisingly, both are band names too. I wonder what menino sounds like?

    Menudo with a young Ricky Martin is just a weird weird weird sound.

    Thomas menino we are a knew baseball team off boston community and we are askning for your help to be able to keep the baseball team in progress, and keep our young children off the street.

    Mayor Menino is a really really nice person and has done alot for the City of Boston. People like Howie Carr are so rude and inconsiderate. Howie Carr should be fired from WRKO. I applaud Mayor Menino for his willingness to fight for the middle class and to curb violence within the city.

    the danvers YMCA has been slowly cutting dredging the wetlands i have by my backyard. have contactedb the danvers town hall on this matter but they refuse to do anything about this we have had last year a rare sound of a bird or frog that i have come to know recently was in a rainforest tape . now they are just cutting more and more trrees it is breaking my heart. i have contacted numerous people but still no help could you help me we need to save these areas
