Seafest Scam
Did anybody else enter the “door prize” contest at Seafest? If so, you’ll probably be getting a phone call soon where they tell you that you’ve won a trip, no wait, make it two trips, or three!
You’ll have to pay your own way to Miami or Tampa, though, and then you’ll have to pay a bunch of fees for the “prize.” What they don’t tell you is that you haven’t won anything at all — the “fees” are actually more than the cost of a decent cruise from Tampa or Miami.
I can’t believe the Seafest people actually allowed these guys to set up this obvious scam.
