What I’m trying to figure out is how to do selective colouring. That would be really cool for the bottom pic: keep the flowers yellow and the rest black and white.
You use the “select colour range” option in Photoshop to select the colour you want, copy it to another layer, then desaturate the current layer. Easy as pie. I’m going to post some examples in a bit.
